This morning I've watched new U.S. show Bionic Woman pilot episode online.  I thought it was really good and Michelle Ryan is a pretty good actress.  She even put on a very good American accent.  For the people who doesn't know who is actress, she used to be Dawn from Eastenders.  I will be watching more of the upcoming episodes.

Corrected.

No, hang on, that's still wrong. She has abnormally large shoulders for a woman.

There.

No, wait, still wrong. Those shoulders make her more of a swimmer on the Russian Olympic squad. Plus her "acting" in Eastenders was dire. Five years on the show and all she's remembered for is "You ent my muvva!"

That will have to do.

I haven't seen the show but I saw the trailer NBC put up on YouTube a few months ago and it looked pretty good. Her accent was a bit weird but American reviewers seem to find it OK (then again, they think George's accent in House is convincing). I'll watch it when it's on TV over here (I think it's on ITV in the new year).

From the 3 or 4 episodes I've seen so far, I'm extremely impressed by the remake. David Eick (of Battlestar Galactica fame) has used many of the darker elements of the BSG reboot to make Bionic Woman a really fantastic show.

Not to mention, in the pilot episode there was a grand total of 3 actors from Battlestar excluding Katee Sackoff (who is awesome, by the way), who plays the main villain, the original psychotic Bionic Woman.

Not to say that it isn't without it's flaws, but any young show has to work out kinks as it goes on...
