Im the show's biggest fan (least I like to think so) (no fuck that, I AM the biggest fan) and even I agree that the show went downhill at S3. S1 was such a thrill ride, I watched them again on DVD recently, and was blown away that every episode had a heart-stopping twist pulling you into next week.

S1 - 10/10
S2 - 8-10/10
S3 - 5-6/10
S4 - 5/10
S5 - (havent seen it yet, hoping for good things, the finale of S4 leaving me hanging!)
