I don't like how there seems to be discontinuity between the episodes. Like the episode from 2 weeks ago ended on Ryan moving near Kelly in the office, yet we hear nothing of that storyline in the following episode. We've seem to have lost the minor characters like Oscar, Creed (i miss Creed!!!), Meredith, and Toby and when they do appear its for a brief instance. When there's no discussion of the Dwight/Angela relationship we kinda lose Angela in the mix as well. It just makes me appreciate more the brilliance that was Arrested Development, and that no show, no matter how quirky and humorous it is at times, will ever come close to it. But don't get me wrong, The Office is a fun watch, but that's all really. It hasn't greatly impacted my life like other shows have...

If you watch the deleted scenes they put on NBC's website, there's actually a LOT of stuff with the minor characters that gets cut out. Ryan and Kelly also had a scene cut from Cocktails, too. I guess it's hard to fit that much into a 22-minute episode. They should super-size EVERY episode of this show, as far as I'm concerned.

I'd hardly call it bitchy. Considering Angela's treatment of Phyllis in the past, not to mention the fact that she's still doing this to Andy (and Dwight, too, I guess, though I'd say Andy is way more hurt by this arrangement), if anyone is going to be classified as the bitch or pulling bitchy moves, it's Angela. I was totally rooting for Phyllis throughout the entire episode. She was incredibly awesome, that one moment included.
Though I seriously hope that now, especially with everyone in-office aside from Andy and Michael (and Meredith, too, but her knowing wouldn't be nearly as relevant... or disastrous) knowing, this whole thing is put a stop to before the wedding. Any later than that, including at the actual wedding, would just be absolutely terrible. I've generally been pretty meh on Jim/Pam, especially when they got together, so I'm not really feeling all that hurt by this. I was just so happy to see a Jim prank on Dwight again, because it seems nearly the entirety of Jim's scenes are just with Pam now. Which is getting kind of annoying, because there was more to Jim before that.

New episodes start in 10 days? Good thing I just got caught up I guess! Kinda sucks to stumble on things later on, but makes it easier to get terribly terribly addicted. Its like crack, you can either have a little bit of crack every week for a long time, or you can just have a whole heaping pile of crack all at once. The downside is the first way gets you in the mindset to wait a while for your crack, whereas the second one leaves you enraged demanding more crack... or dead... Have to say it is one hell of a show, probably my favorite live action. I love how you can practically feel peoples souls being crushed... can't wait for my office life. Watching what comes out of Michael's mouth can feel like a watching a train wreck, you really really want to look away but you know you cant. Dwight is frightening and amazing, Jim is great especially with the Dwight pranks. Really loved the Jim / Pam tag team pranks too... hopefully we'll see some more. Also someone needs to give Jenna Fischer the "win at acting" award for best television actress to be... ever. Honestly can't think of a current character in a show I care about more. Might be weird, but I really like how they managed to actually develop a relationship throughout the show... Kinda wish Fry / Leela went a little more like Pam / Jim. What happened to Pam's terrace though? I'm sure she wanted one in her house. Can't wait for more of this hilarious show.

American Office sucks. Dwight is too over the top to even compare with the subtle mastery of Garreth. Steve Carrel keeps his "shouting=funny" nonsense that also can't compare to his UK counterpart.
The US version is funny in a different way. It's a different brand of humour. Dwight is excellent. Michael, not so much. But then again, nether was Brent. Gareth Keenan is untouchable. None will come close to him, but Dwight makes a fair crack at it. Given the differences between England and America in general, I say it's a fair translation and a good job.
