After Futuama...

The Series is over and now the characters are out of work. Off they head for new careers...
1) Zoidberg beings a thriving career on the West End and Broadway stage. Critics fall in love with his Jean Valjean in his production of 'Les Miserables.'
2) Fry tries to start a music career but when that goes belly-up then he really lets himself go.
3) Bender emigrates to the UK where he gets a job in a new line of Richard Curtis romantic comedies.
4) Leela goes into hidng on her island in the Pacific, where her harpooning skills are put to good use.
5) Farmsworth (in reality a thirty year old with heavy makeup) starts his own talkshow. But moves cancel because the executives want to move it to a early slot.
6) The rest make their money by appearing in sci-fi conventions.

I've always thought that Bender would one day own his own bar.  I do agree with the rest of them, though.

But Fry's musical career already went belly up in "the devil's hands are idle playthings". So you need a new future for him.

Zoidberg moves to Seattle to host a radio medical talk show.  However his new life is upset when his Uncle Harold Zoid runs out of money for the retirement home, and he's forced to move in with Zoidberg.

Also starring snooty cousin Zoidfarb, Heather as Zoid's healthcare worker, and Sally, the slutty radio producer.

Why would Leela go into hiding? She could get into action movies fairly easily. They wouldn't need to hire a stunt double.

I don't think that Bender or Zoidberg would make it outside of Planet Express. They're lucky to have their jobs, I'd think. Hermes'd be happy.

I like the idea of Leela getting into action movies.  I guess Bender can get his own bar and Fry can be like his assisant or something.

I agree about Zoidberg (I don't even know how he got his job at Planet Express to begin with) But Bender would be ok, he'd go back to bending, then try the suicide booth... again

Here are my random ideas.

Hermes would start his own drug empire.

Leela would model contact lenses.

Fry would be put on display in a museum.

The Professor would invent the fountain of youth, then forget about it and die.

Bender would steal everything of value at PE and run off.

Zoidberg would be the mascot for Red Lobster.

To clarify to the people wondering about my choices, my idea was that the characters were actors in a sci-fi series and once it got cancelled they all had to get different jobs. Like 'The Simpsons: Behind the Laughter' espisode. And what happened to the Star Trek casts.

Also, I was thinking Zoidberg for the Surgeon General of the United States and Bender and Fry for President/Veep...politics is the last refuge of scoundrels and thieves,no?

Here's some predictions for some of the extras (and Zoidberg):

-Zoidberg is going to live in a dumpster... only this time it's next to Elzar's restaurant!
-Morbo becomes the president of the NLGA (National Laser Gun Association), Los Angeles branch.
-Linda gets hooked on laughing-gas and has to spend the rest of her life in rehab.
-Kif goes back to his own planet to marry Amy, settle down, and spend some time with the tadpoles.
-As opposed to Fry, Zapp does not let himself go; instead, he loses 75 pounds and replaces that Jared guy as the spokesperson for the Subway diet.
-Finally, without the supervillain role she was born to play, Mom goes to the Near-Death Star and wills her company to Bill Gates's head.  Mom's Friendly Robot Company now sells faulty products but can't go bankrupt because Gates has a monopoly of the entire electronics industry.  The end. ^^

fry and leela plan to get married untill zap kidnaps her and forces her to rethink it they then return as friends untill leela get pregnant
meanwhile bender is thrown in jail when he trys to break into the largest bank in the universe
zoidberg becomes a full time doctor for the earth army and it becomes a mash like spin off the rest stay on at planet express and then fry lella, bender and dr zoidberg all return for a new season
