The kid on the internet that is clearly an offensive recreation of David X. Cohen   -2 (2.2%)
The ungrateful asshole kid that wants Santa to give him a coffin for his Grandpa   -2 (2.2%)
The idiots that wanted to cook and eat Leeloo. MONSTERS!   -0 (0%)
The five-eyed alien from "A Bicyclops Built for Two" who probably ruined a very expensive wedding dress running between different castles   -2 (2.2%)
The Nibblonian chef that clearly did no research into Fry's eating capabilities, thus wasting massive amounts of food   -6 (6.7%)
The mugger that attempted to rob the crew after they gained superpowers. What kind of sick degenerate carries out violent robberies using robot children?   -2 (2.2%)
The Planet Express trash compactor that manipulated Amy into almost tearing her hand off   -8 (9%)

The woman that tells Bender that he's not stuck, even though the poor robot clearly had his foot trapped in a mailbox   -3 (3.4%)
The guy that steal's Fry's bike in the first episode and sarcastically exclaims "Happy new year!" like an insufferable dickhead   -0 (0%)
The cool-o-meter, that has for some reason decided that it has the authority to assign social status to naive children based on their material possesions   -4 (4.5%)
The Iron Chef reporter that was insulted by Elzar. She probably deserved it for being so nosy   -1 (1.1%)
The pet shop owner. Electric snails are stupid, so he's stupid   -0 (0%)
Mrs. Mellinger. Yes, you bind motherfucker, Bender is quite obviously a robot   -6 (6.7%)
The video shop owner that yells "Everybody hit the deck!" after Fry mentions Star Trek. He could've quietly called the police instead of causing a panic   -1 (1.1%)
The robot that looks like C-3PO. What the fuck? He's not a Futurama character, unless you want to be sued by Disney   -4 (4.5%)
The Neanderthal from "Fun on a Bun" that insincerely offers love to the German guy she was beating up moments prior. She's taking advantage of him, I assure you   -2 (2.2%)
Katrina the fairy, who refuses to grace Planet Express with her fairy magic unless the What-if-Machine is in use. Damn TV screens are taking over society   -13 (14.6%)

We've already witnessed 12 years of Fry's life (3000-3012) with no growth to speak of despite many trials, tribulations, heartbreaks, etc.

I think they just took some cartoon liberties here. None of the characters have aged in any obvious way over the show, but for the storyline Lars has aged some. Cartoon logic at its finest...

(They probably also wanted to make it not too obvious that Lars was Fry... or Fry was Lars... or... blarg, you know what I mean. In the DVD commentary, during Lars and Leela's date at the restaurant, I think they explain how they added in some of Fry's goofiness as kind of a hint for the audience about his true identity.)

Over 6 different characters...

Most people (including myself) chose Susan Boil for her grossness and inability to make us laugh. And not just her as a character, her in general...:hmpf:

Susan Boil failed hardcore because she was unoriginal and her entire purpose was to be gross. Note: Gross, not funny.

The Hypnotoad is just a character whose only purpose is to get a cheap laugh every time he appears. He's a gag not a character.

Use Guenter's entrails to strangle Guenter?  Who knows, that may yet happen.  May yet!  The professor seemed keen on eating his remains shortly after presumed death.

I third that sentiment, a horrible stereotype character. Painfully unfunny and out of character for the show...

Susan Boyle can get the fuck off the show too. She has no place on Futurama and is an absolute disgrace...

I know right! Ughh why did they even bring her on in the first place?!

They needed something gross for the plot to work.
Gross/sick/primitive stuff is the material internet hits are formed from.
Take a video about "The world's loudest burp" and "The world's greatest Shakespeare recitation". It's obvious and predictable which of these two will get more hits on youtube.
Susan Boil is unfitting for giving Leela another random mutation (unsuitable for the world's least mutated mutant). But -without Susan- something equally disgusting and gross would have to be used.

I see what your saying. I agree with the whole "gross" material getting more attention. I think Susan was, in all, an extremely creative character.

After season 7A, I'd be inclined to vote for Amy.
They basically subjected her to too much Mary Suefication lately, creating a "backup Leela":

- (Vice) Champion Martial Artist : (BE)
- Otherweise Sports Champion (IWGY, we do not know about the Javelin thing).
- Weapon expert (Harpoon, Javelin, MB, etc..)
- Natural strategist and leader (VMV)
- Genius/Smart without being hindered by senility like Farnsworth (TDK).
etc, etc, etc..

And -like Leela- Amys solutions usually also do not come at a "price to be paid".
Just some "give her another ability to solve the problem, and make it a mere skill display".
And even when there was a big messup (AFWTA), there are no consequences: "Hey, don't look at me" "Okay", and the angry mob on  Mars lost interest. (e.g. Leela considered Fry giving her ticket a much graver error than Amy's translation).

It's okay to grant a character his "big moment" (e.g. Zoidberg in TSOTC was really derserved), but I already considerd TSOTC and TOTZ a bit too much "hero moments" to be within the acceptable limit. And -with that comparison- I think we do not have to talk about Amy's quantity).

I think Amy's problem is a too disabled reset button:
She usually KEEPS all her mentioned abilities, and they keep on summing up.

You have a good point.
Despite of being a huge perv, early Hedonismbot was also a bit naive. When assuming something to be decadent, he showed some almost child-like joy and happiness. I would even say it added an aura of innocence to him.
Hedomismbot just being a perv as in FWH...it just wasn't really him (at least not for me).

Jambe!  The chocolate icing!

I don't really know, I always liked Hedonismbot, and the fact that he's a pansexual who has an erotic response to everything doesn't surprise me.   Zapp coldly manipulating his supposed friend's grieving widow is probably one of the most disturbing things I've seen in Futurama, and was not LovableBuffoon!WhoGetsEveryoneKilledbyIncopm etence!Zapp! and more CreepySexualPredatorBorderlin eSociopathZapp, which I really didn't like.

I'm only going with Cubert beause that's what happens when you purposely make an annoying character. I like him but really the other options I wouldn't choose. And who  would ever say Hedonism Bot, Scruffy, Zoidberg or Hypno-Toad is the worst? If anyone answers that with an "I do" don't expect me to like it.

I'd say Michelle was the worst character. Like she was a huge bitch to Fry. There are some other traits I highly dislike about her, like how demanding and selfish she is. It reminds me of most of the girls in my school. It's just, yuck! Don't like thinking about it! I'm glad she hasn't had any roles or voice-overs since Season 2.

I'd don't think this makes makes her a bad character. She's definitely a heartless swine who I would despise in real life, but that's obviously how she's meant to be here in Futurama.

Similarly, Mom is generally considered to be an excellent character despite being ridiculously evil.

Hmm. It just occurred to me that Michelle isn't on the poll. Too bad there's no more room.

Yeah, I also think Mom's role is good. I mean, her role is mainly to poke fun of snobby rich people, and big corporations. But then we got more into the Farnsworth relationship thingy. Isn't the best part of the show, especially how overused it's become since the return in 2007. It's still a darn more enjoyable role than seeing Mitchell bitch all the time!

And Danny, I forgot about that scene! I remember laughing out loud on the "Ooh, now I see why you left Fry!" comment.  :p But thank god Michelle hasn't really had any big roles to play since season 2 though.  :D And her upcoming appearance, may probably just serve the purpose of the upcoming episode, since it has to do with Fry in the past and what-not.
