Eugh, now I'm imagining a hot steamy Morbo/Colleen makeout session. Ew.
Hey, even horrid large-brained monsters need affection, too! When they're not busy destroying Earth, that is.

I really don't like Mom. But that's too far to call her as the worst character ever.
Nixon, on the other hand, irritates just like the original one. So he got my vote!

That example doesn't really count. Considering how nobody but Fry could read her mind, it wasn't in any way or form addressed to the public... Sometimes I wonder how Mom controls her temper in front of the public, .

She's not particularly family-friendly during the attempted takeover of Planet Express in "Future Stock." I suppose you could argue that everyone present knows she's evil, so why should she bother pretending, but still.
I love both Mom and "Future Stock," mind you. I'm just sayin' is all.

Lars...well, I love the story of that movie but the Lars-and-Leela scenes got annoying. Too many corny lines from Lars, most of 'em delivered with that doofus grin. (Plus I gotta have Fry's back, even against himself).
To be fair, I think the cornier lines are meant to hint at Lars's true identity (what always gets me is how he says "Up and away!" when he puts Hermes head in a jar in that first scene he's in; it's kind of charming and boyish. Also, "Is the screaming upsetting you?"--which seems like such a clueless, Fry-like thing to say). I agree that Lars isn't much fun to watch in the present-day scenes, particularly because his interactions with Leela tend to be either too bland or too cutesy--but you've got to love those flashbacks where you watch Fry really become Lars. Even if they're heavy-handed, I love the parallels between the Leelu and Leela situations.
