Few month ago when I watched A Fishfull of Dollars a noticed something wierd that is probaly something the Futurama makers didn't notice at first.
Everybody remember how they were sitting in the cafe ordering a pizza? And fry wanted anchovies and the Farnsworth accused Zoidberg and his people of eating them?
Well lets match the facts:
Anchovies has been extinct since the 22 hundreds just when Crustaceans came to earth.
Then Zoidberg admited that their people at them all.
Well if Zoidberg admited his and his people's fault then it is obvious that he ate those anchoivies. Then zoidberg has been on earth already in the 23rd century.
So from that information I can say the Crustaceans live about 1000 to 1500 years. Since Zaoidberg had to be in some decent age when he came to earth.

I can see where you are comming from but perhaps he was just generally saying sorry for his species.

Or maybe he just didn't hear the question properly.  After all, he doesn't have any ears!

Just because he admitted his people ate them all dosen`t mean he was there. If I heard some people trashing something that the United States did before I was born, I`d walk over and say something. Plus, in the end sequence, when Dr. Zoidberg ate the anchovies, I was under the impression that he wasn`t exactly sure what they were and hadn`t had them before. Well, whatever.

I thought should have explained this part too but I didn't want to write too much. Lets try this again:

If Zoidberg didn't know what anchovies were and how they realy tasted then he wouldn't go crazy after Fry described the taste of anchoivies.
I mean I some guy would tell about something great that you never tasted I think that maximum say "too bad that I didn't tasted it". I don't think that you would get so crazy about it.
Besides Zoidberg said "WE kept saying one more wouldn't hurt".

Dr. Zoidberg didn`t hear Fry explain the taste of anchovies, he wasn`t in the room! He walked in and was overcome with the smell. I don`t think he even knew what they were, he never mentioned it. "That wonderful stench! More!!"

He said 'we' because he was speaking of his kind in general. I would say 'we' if I was describing something I belong to, like my state or high school, even if I wasn`t involved.

You talking about different places in the episode. The one that you are talking is at the very end and the one that I'm talking is at the middle. In fact let me look at what exact time it happended...
Lets see I'm talking about when they sat
in "Original Cosmic Ray's Pizza" (7:36)
and you are talking about when they were
in Planet Express HQ (21:08).

Zoidberg is at least over 80 years old, because he was around at 70 in The Tip of The Zoidberg.
