Bender and his stolen money

Bender is always steeling stuuf, mostly money... But he never seems to do anything with it, only when he was famous in Bender Boxing he acted like he was rich...
Why would you steal money and don't spend it?  It's a shame

Remember this show is mostly humor, and you can put humor in ganking some money off someone but what's the humor in just showing him buy stuff.

Blows it all on hookers, roboporn, and booze.

He DOES have to pay rent.  And he had to pay for that couch in Fry and the Slurm Factory.  And just because we don't see him blowing his money doesn't mean he doesn't.  After all, plenty of time elapses between eps.

Hmmm...leaves the question if he's spending OR wasting the money.

He could invest it (I'm sure the stocks in 3001 are better than todays!), or use it for some good things like charity or whatever.

But that would make him a Disney-Bender, and that's what nobody but George W. (does anybody know what the "W" means?) Bush wants.

There are plenty of things about Bender that make no sense. He changes between episodes, for example in The Deep South he is seen with a volume control on his chest. In Clone of my Own he has a socket for inserting a microphone. In Hell is other Robots he has a socket for jacking on (and presumably other things but who knows what?). Also He swallows a sword in Bicyclops Built for Two but if you look there isn't enough room for a sword to fit inside him and have all those fish tanks in his compartment.

While I like Futurama's continuity, Bender is more of a joke character who never really does anything serious, so discontinuity is allowed for humour purposes. Same with Zoidberg. And Bender must spend all his money on booze and cigars because he is seen with at least one of those most episodes.

Bender buys booze because alcohol is his fuel.  When he "produced" beer, it was probably just some beer that he hadn't used yet.
