New discover (for me anyways)

i am watching Jurassic Bark right now, but I saw something that i haven't noticed before. in the flashback where fry sits in the chair (in 1999 at the cryogenics lab)... well when they show the trash can under the desk, i saw Nibblers eye. sort of a prelude to The Why of Fry. just thought i'd mention

It's been mentioned tons of times. Not to mention Nibbler's shadow under the desk when Fry falls off his chair in Space Pilot 3000, and Nibbler and Fry's shadows can both be seen under the desk during the same moment in the Jurassic Bark flashback.

But you couldn't see Nibbler's shadow under the desk in AOI 1, which proves that the "what if" machine can only create stuff it has information about...

How does it find out stuff? Is it programmed or what?

Unless it means that Nibbler's absence causes Fry to not fall into the tube.

The problem with Nibbler being in the trashcan in "Jurassic Bark" is that it doesn't fit with either "Space Pilot 3000" or "The Why of Fry", neither of which had him in the bin at any point.

We see his shadow for about eight frames.  I love this show.  What other show has clues three seasons ahead, that you'll miss if you blink?

Of course future episodes would have had Fry helping out the Nibblonians again and fulfilling his destiny (Leela has something to do with it too) but I guess we will never find out what his destiny was.


Oh well, no biggie.
