Nudar loosely based off Sneer?

Hi, I don't know if this has been mentioned in the audio commentary of the Bender's Big Score movie, or if anyone else has noticed that, but Nudar seems to (at the very least) resemble Cyril Sneer, from that 80's cartoon, The Raccoons.




I also recall him having henchmen in some episodes..although my memory of the show's a bit hazy...

Oh wow....I forgot all about that show until now!

Its been a while since i listened to the commentary from BBS...but I don't remember it coming up.

They look alike.  I highly doubt it.  Never watched The Raccoons.

Yeah they are similar, maybe they indirectly got a "loose basis" from it considering the cartoonists (I'd imagine) were old enough to watch this show when it was out.

I don't think it was anything done directly though.
