Any planet the dwarves hail from is automatically a dwarf planet. It needn't have a smaller radius than is typical. It could be the size of Jupiter and be a dwarf planet, since it is currently under dwarven occupation.

Indeed, jolly old chap, it could be the size of Jupiter.
But I think we should also point out that it may not be Jupiter itself. Which - as a Gas Giant - is the home of flatulent, extremely tall beings.

Pluto must become a planet again, so that the one we're chasing now will be christened Planet 10, fulfilling the destiny of Buckaroo Banzai.

If Pluto is made a planet again then surely 'Planet 10' has already been found; namely Eris. It is only marginly smaller than Pluto but has greater mass.

What if... what if Ceres is a plant and planet 10 is Pluto?

We'd better consult with John Lithgow.

If only Clyde Tombaugh could have lived long enough to see the images from New Horizons :(

That's some serious stuff there. We must be in the reset if you have wiped all of The human species out of existence before.
She is lucky to have someone who cares so much.

Maybe Pluto has more humans on it or they have advanced technology. Or she has a wild imagination!!

Let's go there then, and steal all of their tech!  I've got a plan!

My 6 year old daughter was absolutely fuming when she found out Pluto was relegated to dwarf status :laff:

She ain't wrong tbf, I think the real motivations behind Pluto's demotion was jealousy and spite. The guy who discovered the dwarf planet Xena was pissed that his discovery wasn't classified as a planet so led the charge to get Pluto demoted too. Whilst technically correct I think they should have just let Pluto be.

Of course, the definition of what is a planet is arbitrary anyway.  (All definitions are.)  They could have defined the minimum size of a planet to be "Pluto-sized or larger" and it would have been just as valid as any other definition.
