Well, in Futurstock, Fry is supposed to be an 80's buisness guy. Sice he got kinds caught up in his work, he wanted to look like an 80's guy. At least thats how I see it.

I think he uses something else. Remember when he has a skateboarding competition with that kid? His hair scraped the pipe and sparks were flying everywhere. I think he buys something with a metal addition in it. You know, for those windy days.

Yes. Unwashed hair produces excesses of grease that can be used to sculpt hairstyles. Fry's comment about having his own hair gel refers to his poor personal hygiene.
Back before I started shaving my head I actually did the same thing.
I am a disgusting human being. I have come to terms with this, and I have reached a point in my life where I no longer care if I am disgusting.

Ha, I do it now. Except if I leave my hair unwashed for too long it makes my head rather itchy and ick so I have to wash it again...hence hair straighteners were invented.

In any case, we can solve the world's oil shortage problem by destroying all showers and sinking wells in our hair.

Better than use whale oil (but then you'd change the future !)

Beh. I change the future all the time. Just last week I went back to the late 80s and precipitated the fall of Communism in Eastern Europe in order to prevent the nuclear war that occurred in the original timeline between the USA and the Soviet Union in 1994.

I thought Fry's hair was at it's peak in the episode, "Hell Is Other Robots" when they went into an electrical field so Bender can get high, and Fry's hair looked like an afro!

Fry's hair was an afro thanks to electricity. This teaches us all that we should fly into static electrical storms to get a nice fluffy and full afro.

Or of course take the easy option and electrocute ourselves via wires etc, wow Futurama really is a great information resource...

I like Fry's hair best in Mars University when he was younger...having his two spikes much taller is very sexy...

as is in Brannigan Begin Again...which the high gravity rain, he kinda looks a bit emo like, but again, that is VERY hot.

Ugh. I hate having yucky hair, I HAVE to wash it. Which sucks, cause I wash my hair ever other day. Also, as I have very fuzzy hair, it takes me 40 minutes to straighten my hair. I just cant win!

Hairdressers say you're only supposed to wash your hair once or twice a week but that doesn't work for me. It goes too oily, too quickly. But a trick if anyone wants to know is to put talcum powder (non-smelling) in your hair and brush it through for ages until you can't see any white.

The more often you wash your hair, the quicker it gets oily.

Thats a point. But its kinda like in a spiral then. If you try to leave your hair i.e. not washing it, that means it gets really greasy therefore you cannot go out without a paper bag. Then you wash it, and it goes greasy again...just cant win  :(

Then again...isnt it just a puberty thing? Does your hair stop going more greasy after those teenage years?

I shave my hair down to a few milimetres' length, thus eliminating most common hair-related problems.

Yeah exactly! It's a spiral that you can't stop.

And I don't know about it stopping being oily after puberty. Apparently it's most oily like where you're 15-18 but I dunno if that's true.

Coldangel, I would, but I have extremely fuzzy hair, and I think I'd miss it if I cut it all off. Also, one girl did, and everyone thought she was a man for liek a year after :|

Flowerpot hats are cool too :P

@BBB, North East unfortunately. It isnt that bad where I am though. What about you?>
