Song in A Pharoah to Remember

In the episode, when Bender makes his enterance as the new pharoah, it plays, "Walk Like an Egyptian" in the FOX version of the episode.  When I last saw it on Adult Swim, a drum beat was played instead. 

Am I the only one who noticed this?

You might just be the only person who is bothered by it. Congratulations. You've acheived something, but I'm not quite sure what.

Edit: I guess what I'm saying is, couldn't htis have gone in the general goof thread?

Do you know whats weird, I was watching this episode when I saw this thread, and even more weird is I read the post right when the scene came on.

That has never occured for me, I watch it on Sky One here in England and it is always the 'Walk like an Eygptian' song and nothing else... I bet it will be something to do with Adult Swim in the country ......? (Where can you view this channel again lol)

Yeah me and you in the same Dave B. I watch Sky One and its the Walk Like An Eygptian. I guess theres just different versions for different countries.

On TBS they play 'Walk Like An Egyptian', although they censor 'Zombie Jesus'.

Hmm... Adult Swim is on Cartoon Network, which is owned by the same company as TBS, Turner Broadcasting. So maybe they didn't play 'Walk Like an Egyptian'. I might of been thinking of something else. I'll try to check.

Hmm, I don't usually watch Adult Swim, but the next time this ep. comes on, I'll have to see which is played. But on my DVD, it plays Walk like an Egyptian.

How odd that the censored "zombie jesus" when, if I remember correctly, Adult Swim doesn't. I still haven't watched that one again, but along with Farnsworth Parabox, I shall just to see.

On my DVD it plays some incidental music that sounds a lot like "Walk Like an Egyptian" without containing any tell-tale vocals.  I always assumed it was a "soundalike" bit written by Christopher Ting.

Space Case:  The "Daniel" bit goes like this;

Pharoah my god-king (Daniel my brother)
You are cold and deceased (you are older than me)
Are you still half-insane? (do you still feel the pain)

Boring autobiographical note: My brother's name is Daniel (though he is younger than me) so that song always stuck in my mind.

Really? The last time I watched Adult Swim, they did censor the zombie Jesus thing. I think it was in The Deep South, but I'm not entirely sure.
