Actually, Superfry, Hermes said that the pressure would "Crush you like a green snake under a sugarcane truck." The Professor just introduced the concept of an anti-pressure suppository. That's the wrong kind of mistake to point out in a thread about mistakes that happen in the show, but I just like Hermes' green snakes, all right?

ooy and oxygengiver2000 please note the age of this thread. Plank and r hawks haven't posted the last 1½, so I don't think addressing them will do much good. Then again, maybe they'll come back, so something good can come from this.

There are a lot of mistakes in the Futurama series, but I don't think they are mistakes at all. They draw about 24 pictures to fill a second. Don't you think they would have noticed the "mistakes" and done somethink about it???

If you listen to the commentary in "Bendless Love" they also talked about this problem, because Bender is wearing a magnet pointy beard. They said it only affects him when the magnet is on his forehead. On the audio commentaries Coehn explain that one. The line was added in at a late stage, since they figured the scene needed some dialogue. Unfortunately they'd already exhausted their animation budget, and figured "what the hell, noone will notice".

No, it's just that when you watch something so many times, you notice stuff. We're not picking at the show - after all, no show is without flaws and continuity errors (especially a cartoon), we're just bringing them up because we find these mistakes interesting.
Also - there is such thing as a question mark. It looks like "?". I suggest putting it at the end of sentences where you are asking a question, and I'm not just picking at your grammar. I find the mistake very interesting... Honestly.

Looks very peculiar. He doesn't lose them till Fear of a Bot Planet. I guess though, that that's probably not a mistake so much as a design alteration on the part of Matt Groening and/or Rough Draft/the designers.
