Excellent trio of folks here, but I must give it to DrT. That man was/is hilarious, and I feel his absence most acutely.

I have to give it to Xanfor. DrThunder was hilarious, yes. But Xanfor was kind, patient, had an excellent sense of humor, and more than a little wisdom. He was a better PEELer than many of us deserved, and I really did feel like he was as much of a fixture around here as anybody.

Until he disappeared. Now he's a keenly-felt absence, if only because I have nobody to bounce obscure Hitchhikers Guide jokes off of at random.

Xan is one of the most thoughtful and patient people I've ever known. And the way he actively works to be fair-minded and avoid bias traps inspires me. I hope he drops by more frequently and hangs around once in a while.

Xanfor by a landslide. He was always a staunch supporter of my artistic endeavors back in the day, and we held many a conversation in other threads, most of them holding at least some degree of wit. I look back on the past with great fondness. Xan, if you're reading this and everyone else's posts, I hope you know how much we love and miss you, buddy.

Since it seems that he hasn't stuck around, I'm actually going to go for Xanfor. His coming back for a single, hilarious post just makes me miss him more.
