So, which of these threads made you most depressed when you read them?

Tough choice, but I’ll give it to the COVID thread. (The politics thread can get real dicey, but I generally enjoy reading the posts there; the COVID thread is useful but also depressing by its very existence.)

Ugh. The Politics Thread has been a consistently awful family of threads since... ...maybe forever.

It's a generational curse.

COVID-19. It was a refuge in dark times, but that doesn't change the fact that the question "why does grandpa's eye twitch when I say 'we're all in this together'?" will be asked in the decades to come.

Sometimes we get good things out of politics. Not often, but sometimes.

Nothing good has ever come from COVID. Well, petrol was really cheap for like, a week back in 2020. But is this the 2020 PEELies? Is it?!

I picked the politics thread, because yeah, it is often a bit of a minefield. But, this is a toss-up, and I think part of it is just that I want to vote differently and make this a bit more interesting.
