The Zinc Saucier Award for Most Cookable PEELer

There is an unfair stereotype about internet dorks that goes as follows: We are all schlubby men living in our parents' basements, playing Dungeons & Dragons and subsisting only on Mountain Dew and Lay's Potato Chips. While most of that description is true, we ought all take exception to that part about what we eat; after all, a number of PEELers have proven themselves to be accomplished cooks, capable of concocting creations as diverse as Nutella-slathered breakfast foods, cornucopias of Christmas cookies, and Latin-inspired rice dishes. This award is intended to honor those PEELers who can pull themselves away from the RPGs long enough to do some damn fine cookin' with LSD...or the secret ingredient of their choosing.

Mmmm.... drooly.

Pretty much every time I visit that thread someone has posted a picture of something that makes me hungry. Right now all I can think of is sparkybarky's chocolate raspberry torte. And DrThunder's xmas cookies. And TastesLikeFry's rainbow cupcakes. Leia's chocolate mousse. Meerkat's home ec products. Oh my, yes.. I'll take eight!

Tachy is a pretty good cook as well. I've had some of his baked goods and they were delicious

I liked Tachy's Breakfast of Champions. Even though I don't drink Guiness or any beer, it made me chuckle, and the rest of it looked yummy. Lindt chocolate. Mmm.

I will admit that while I was perusing the thread after posting here, I scrolled past a picture of pancakes thinking they looked yummo, and then I realised they were mine. Gone too soon. This reminds me, we need more maple syrup!

I've been really impressed with Maz, DrT, and Booze's posts in the food thread, but I feel like Booze's might have been from last year. That leaves me with Maz and DrT. Maz is more prolific, I think, and I have a weakness for sweet things. In that case, I think I'll vote for her.

Well, you cold always cook them at 98.6F / 37C.  i.e. using your body heat

I have to say I didn't expect to get so many votes, let alone that many more than anybody else. I think perhaps I post too many pictures of desserts. But I appreciate how much everyone appears to have appreciated them!
