And what are we, chopped monkey liver??

I would like to see that though. A LOT.

Sadly (or not), I don't believe that I have any remaining components of my uniforms.  I divested myself of them the boring way by giving them to a local thrift store.  My ex disposed of hers in a somewhat more flamboyant manner:  the day she got out, she burned her uniforms(!)*  If you are thinking that perhaps prodigious quantities of ethanol might have been consumed prior to the bonfire ceremony you can give yourself a gold star now. :)

* In our Weber charcoal grill that I retrieved from a gomei pile outside a Navy base in Japan and carted all the way back to the USA. Yes, it made quite a mess...

Futurefreak, the only one able to be both purple and pink at the same time.

That's kinda the opposite of most purple, isn't it? I mean, you'e diluting purple with pink there. The reasoning some people have behind their votes in the PEELies seems to be a hideous contortion of illogic. I'm certain that PEEL as a whole is starting to go a little winna in the brainbox.

Bf1221 is definitely the logical choice. The non-winnalogic choice.

You say that, but don't say why. It may very well be that you think she's the logical choice because she has a black and white cat, rather than because she loves and dresses in and collects just about everything that is purple. Which I'd have to classify as winnalogic.

The reason I voted for her was because she really loves purple. She wears purple, she buys purple things, and I'm pretty sure that she'd live in a purple house and drive a purple car, given the option.

That right there, that's a logical reason to vote for Bf1221. I don't know if I'm making my point clear or not, but the thing I'm trying to say is that people might make a perfectly cromulent choice, but they then say something that would make me deduct marks from them if PEEL was some sort of exam, because they've gotten there by entirely the wrong route for the question.

I chose BF because she dyed her hair purple and has been wearing purple in nearly every picture she posts. I figure that means she loves purple. :p

The way I see it they both appear equally purple but when you take into consideration that Randi's purple is actually diluted with pink, you realize that it is more purple than it appears to the naked eye and is therefor more purple than Bendersfan's.

Don't think about that one too hard. I certainly didn't.

:laff: I should get you to do a serial dilutions lab I had earlier this year, using potassium permanganate solution. It's very pretty, and quite purple (at least the concentrated solution you start with is).

Being purple is more than just collecting purple things (which I am guilty of). It is about embracing Purple to its full potential. Being purple is being able to stand up to the rest of the palette of colors and say "Hey, I'm different. I make the prettiest flowers and can be used in both fun and formal occasions. I look great in many occasions and many styles. I embrace both feminine and masculine characteristics because I am a mix of those basic colors. I am both hot and cold; I am a chameleon. I can represent royalty and grace, or flirtiness and flair. I am unique; I am purple."

That is why I am purple.

You forgot that purple is the most high-energy part of the visible spectrum, futurefreak. Talk about not appealing to the nerd vote! Sheesh! :p

Hm, I should get some permanganate solution and grow some purple crystals.

Hah. You have something purple in you at the moment? Is that what you mean by being guilty of "collecting purple things"? I'm surprised you have the concentration required to type whilst you're doing that. :p

That was meant to be a more general example of what any random individual might post as a reason. My reason, my own personal reason, would be because if she doesn't win it, she'll be sadface, and that will also make me sadface. Not to mention, she may very well cause me significant, severe physical pain if she doesn't win. Plus, she really does like purple.

That last bit is really all that will apply for most other people. :p

She's not too late to vote though. There aren't many votes on there (although there's a clear leader here, several votes in front of the competition). In fact, three of the candidates still don't have any votes at all.

pfft I do not deserve to be on this poll. I have not embraced purple to its fullest extent, and for that, I am ashamed.

Voted for Bendersfan, seeing as objectively I think she is "the most purple". With the hair and the glasses and all.

But only one of them lives near me and has dyed her hair purple and posted it on PEEL.
