The Sparkly Award That Sparkles (spoiler alert!)

Basically, I was testing stuff and somehow this image file ended up saved to my computer.



So, should this award be made an official 2011 PEELie? Vote yes or no, and whatever the poll result is, the council will honour it. If the result is yes, then the award will be presented with a speech, and if the result is no, then this will remain merely a fancy test of the sparkly PEELie animation (as well as a huge spoiler).

So vote! Oh, and I suppose that questions, comments, complaints, and the like are valid for this thread, rather than needing to be in the general PEELies discussion thread.

The poll will automatically expire at the end of December, and if it's to be awarded as an actual award, the Sparkly Award That Sparkles will be presented to the recipients with a nice little speech and a gift certificate redeemable for one sexual favour from Bend-err.

I was testing the sparkle animation. Nobody said it made sense. Hell, the name of the award doesn't particularly lend itself to actually being awarded for anything. I mean "The Sparkly Award That Sparkles" is just a description of the award trophy, not some quality that anybody typically exhibits or most embodies.

Yeah, it actually had your name and the flying TV avatar on it whilst it was still in progress, and then you decided to go calling me things like "a bitter asshole" in #futuramachat. So in what leading experts in sarcasm are calling "a stunning display of maturity", I decided to be both bitter and an asshole, and test it using somebody else's name(s) instead. Which, I think, makes me the bigger person.

How many days has it been since the last vote? The last non-council post has already been 2.5 weeks ago, so I guess everyone who wanted to have a say in it did so.
