Well with actually having posted this month, I can safely say that I have a better idea of who to nominate.

TheMadCapper - He posted some posts that I read and I have noticed some posts he posted so that's why I'm nominating him

cyber_turnip - His posts have also stood out for me this month

Archonix He comes from the right part of the world, and the right part of that right part of the world (ie close to the M60, the best M in Britain apart from several other ones).

I read the POTM on the PEEL Wiki, but since this is my first month here, how does this work exactly?

I suppose posters nominate a bunch of PEELers and everyone votes on who deserves to win the POTM?  Also, does the winner have to make an wiki entry?

I believe that you can nominate up to three PEELers. Then we have a vote.
I'm not sure about the wiki entry though. The users that are most likely to win POTM already have one.

No big explanation is needed to say about the fabulous first post by this guy. It was absolutely mind-blowing. He makes some mistakes from time to time (I make way more ) Also his posts are really high quality!

PEELers nominate up to three posters (sans those who have won in the past year) which they deem to deserving to be called Poster of the Month. We then tally up the nominations and put the Top 10 into a poll, for which everybody gets one vote. After a few days, the poll is closed, and the winner is awarded the title of Poster of the Month for that month. Their wiki page is featured on the Wiki's main page.

Basically you nominate up to 3 peelers who you believe have been posting high quality or entertaining posts. Those with the most nominations are placed in the poll, and the peeler with the most votes wins the poster of the month award.

That's all you really need to know What he said

Also I think I might trial something this month so the winner will get an extra prize (hopefully this will work and not fail miserably).

I don't believe I've taken part in poster of the month before, but here's at it:

coldangel - For a mixture of humourous posts and posts that verbalised my own thoughts so that I didn't have to.
TheMadCapper - I seem to remember a few pretty well thought-out arguments here and there.
UnrealLegend - I've noticed his existence which means he must be doing something right (or wrong - but in this case, he hasn't annoyed me, so it's definitely something right).

An honourable mentions to Solid Gold Bender and futurIMAfan whose posts have shown a great deal of genuine enthusiasm and, dare I say, passion for the show.

Frida: Post more! We want to see your writings more. We PEELers have a very short attention span, and tend to nominate the PEELer's names we last remembered, or see a lot, so long as it isn't all drivel. For what's it's worth...I like your style
