I know, it was pretty obvious!
That was one of the main reasons why I was pissed that month (see the rant in a test thread somewhere).
So what'll happen now? Does he wait until Daniela gets in the lead, or doesn't he, because she is a lesbian and not "available" to men?

Yeah, that one was classed a tie, but the Ninaka/Tweek one was the last Tie-breaker Vote.

I publicly apologised to Fred for what I said to him then admitting that I was wrong... for me to have then treated some one else the same way a month later would have been hypocracy

I's rather see a joint award than some sort of deathmatch.  I think TLL deserves the award; she's a great poster and everyone's her friend, and naturally I think I deserve it too.  For no reason.  And I think the two of us represent the diversity of PEEL well, as ambassadors to the world outside.  The hippie spacey PC lesbian and the ugly arrogant jerk with a giant club and a graduate degree, who both like music from the '20s... what other message board can claim that combo?

Well it seems my vote might well be crucial to the outcome here, so to avoid being accused of forcing a tie, I voted for Y_L_B for being generally awesome.

However whichever of you two (eggsy or Lesbiansy) deserve it for also being generally awesome. General awesomeness all round people!

I'm hoping for a tie. Sir eggs has been one of my nominations every month, and Daniela also deserves it, and with both of those spaces free, it gives me double the chance of winning in September just because I kick so much ass.

And as far as abortion, I'm pro-choice, but I'm not ready to argue that with people. Just like with music tastes, trying to change someone's stance on abortion is like trying to knock down a brick wall by poking it with your index finger.

Congratulations TLL. Although in no way do I wish to belittle your "victory", I would like to re-iterate my longstanding belief that POTM is nothing more than an egotistical farce.

If, however, we were to remove past POTM winners from the list of those unable to receive nominations, then we'd soon see the true worth of POTM... and the true POTM's. There would be a hard core of a few people who won POTM in a more-or-less predictable rotation, and there would be nobody on that liast who joined after spring 2002. That, I would bet money on.
