Not a complaint as such, but since the TEST and Music threads fill up so quickly nowadays, is there any chance of a return to the 30-page rule?

I know that because I originally suggested it. However, lately we have had a few complaints regarding how fast these threads are moving. Reinstating the 30-rule, will stop them moving so fast. I think the cause wasn't just the level of spam, so I think it's "swings and roundabouts". Just wanted to table the suggestion. Next person to complain will be directed to this post.

Solution:
If they want the threads to stop going by so fast, they should stop posting crap and make sure what they're posting has a point.

You are posting once a month and i don't think you read all my posts. Since you're not quoting my posts, its just namecalling. I dont want to quote your words in chat because you just called me names instead of explaining your post. Please stop your bitching about me without any reason, or at least try to prove your point. (P.s. I don't want any fight with you again, please don't start it.)
Just because I'm not constantly posting, doesn't mean I'm not reading posts. I don't post only once a month. I post when I feel there is something I can actually say rather than just spewing things out to up my post count. I used to do that and I think it's stupid and I wish I hadn't. As for proof, I don't need to quote you because almost every post I seem to find of yours is showing me this. Tweek: She's the only one I notice. I'm not saying there aren't more, but she's the most predominant.

About test-threads: the "What are you listening to"-threads fill up faster than the test-threads. So logically, if we ban test-threads, those would have to go too.

i do have a problem with that. (and not only because i make about 50% of my posts in that thread ) the problem is: through this thread, i've got to known a lot of cool bands (examples include shellac or tenacious d) and i think that's a pretty cool thing. of course we could counter this by having serious discussion about musicians/bands or a thread with reviews of records we bought, but all these threads were already made and spammed with dumb comments. i say: unless we come up with a better solution, we should keep these threads.

I completely agree. I'm totally up for the idea of review and recommending bands/songs to fellow PEELers (and having a thread thereof) - however, there are always close-minded philistines who will post mush in it. While the listening thread exists it is serving a good purpose. I'm always up for expanding the discussion and suggesting new things, I have tried to do this.

But Juliet, Spice weasel, and a dozen others who curse all the time are kid-friendly.
Plus, there is iliketowankalot.
Futurama is a show for mature audiences, and contains sexual humor, about homosexuality (we are sure it's a woman this time, right? and There's only one kind of woman you'll attract with my body, Fry), rape (death by snu-snu!), penis size, and other naughty topics.
I had to register a new email account to register this name here.
And someone just told me there were a couple of big threads about masterbating and breasts and things like that.

Come now Marc, it seems quite hypocritical to watch such a mature-audience oriented show and run a message board about it where it's acceptable for Red5 to threaten to bludgeon people with his 20 inch cock, and for Wankalot and Juliet to talk about masturbation, to allow threads devoted to masturbation and discussion of erogenous body parts, and whatnot - and then to smack down a new account for milder offenses than that.
