Background Check

I'm quite new to PEEL and this is the first topic I have started so please forgive me if this has been asked before but...

Having been reading the board for a short while I have become very curious about the background of Futurama Fans. I consider myself a scientist and I think this is why Futurama appealed to me more than any other show on TV. The rest of my scientist friends love the show too so I was wondering what all of you are.

I have started a poll here, but feel free to mention your background if it doesn't fit into any of the categories (I know I have made them very limited).

Also I apologise in advance if this is not posted in the right category.

So come on and satisfy my curiosity!

Retail logistics (in other words "Other" ).

Though I attended engnnering college for a few terms.

although i don't have an actual career type job yet, my degree and interest is in film, particulary film editing ( go Avid! )which puts me in the creative catagory

Hurray.... I'm a delivery boy.  I deliver pizzas for Eagle Boys.  I also have a computing background but I don't get much for it.

I'm still in school, but I'm pursuing Creative Arts. Lord knows what I'll do with it.. But I feel certain I cannot survive 4 years studying anything else.

When I took this yesterday I was the only one who picked "still in school". I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Yea, I'm still in high school but when I go to college I plan on majoring in something with art specifically animation. I guess that would just fall under creative arts up there.

I'm in limbo. The long, weird summer vacation between High School and College. I've got an assload of school ahead of me.

I'm a lab assistant at the pathology and crime lab at my state hospital. So i guess i'm other science.

Although I am technically not attending school right now (i.e. not registered for next quarter), I do plan on returning to study to become a paramedic.  I may also take some fire science courses next quarter, if I can still get in.  Also, back in public school, I was more interested in science than any other subjects, so I guess we have a little science background going with me.  Although I've never taken a full blown physics course (and probably won't... I hate math), I do find physics to be interesting.

It's good to see so many creative people here, and I'm impressed that so many are still in school. From the boards I would have guessed that the majority of people here seemed a little older than that.

I suppose that says something about the kind of person that is attracted to Futurama
