Futurama DVDs!!!!!!

Who-hoo!! the news I'd secretly thought I'd get in my new Simpsons DVDs appeared:

Futurama DVDs will hit the UK on January 29 2002!!!! (Everyone kind of knew it was sometime January from rumours but now it's official!!)

visit http://www.bbfc.co.uk/  and go to search for Futurama for full details on the features(more might be added too and I can't be arsed to type it all basically) They look alot more than the meagre ones on the Simpsons sets too.
yes, UK is region 2.
It will contain the first 13 episodes (up to Fry and the Slurm Factory)

Whoa! UPDATE!
I just found a new feature on the BBFC website which was just passed on the 18th.
It's only small but it's a 2 min 45s character profile clip. Sounds Cool though and better than anything the Simpsons DVDS got on the characters. I've a feeling these DVDs are going to wipe the floor with Simpsons DVDS

Denmark is Zone 2, so if you won't get it in Denmark, order it from the UK

More from DVD Review (hey, I edit it!) - it looks like it's going to be the entire 1ACV production block, ie 13 episodes. I haven't seen the DVD packaging yet, but I *have* seen the European VHS packaging, and that has 13 episodes over three tapes. No reason why the UK DVDs should be any different. I'm hoping to get the first official release from Fox in the next week or so - stay tuned!

I don't know what the Simpsons DVDs have on them.  I can't really compare the two.  Plus theres the little thing about me not having a DVD player...

I hope we don't have to wait too long after the DVD release to get it on tape. A DVD release is a good sign though

Umm, I don't think it will actually. The only deleted scenes (so far) to be definately on the DVDs are from the first nine eps(up to Hell is Other Robots)

Since Australia is region 4 you might have quite a wait 
UK VHS tapes can be played in Australia though as both countries use the PAL colour system.

indeed..all Futurama fans need to get the DVD...
