WTC in futurama

Hi!

In the Cryonic woman, we can see the World Trade Center (When Fry & Bender return from flying the Planet Express).  So, we can say that they will rebuild the towers! 

Does the Futurama team need to remove the towers from the show now?

Why would "our" WTC be in NNYC?  Wouldn't they be in the ruins of ONYC?

Considering that the entire city was destroyed... TWICE... in SP3K, those can't be the originals.

That's exactly what I was thinking guys.  Maybe they just looked like them, Stooker, but I'm pretty sure they were leveled by the alien attack(s).

OK, I just checked it out, and there ARE two buildings that look like the WTC, but one building (the one with the antenna) is significantly shorter than the other.  Thus they can't be the Twin Towers.

The city was destroyed twice, but not the building where Fry was when he delivered the pizza.  Maybe Fry was in one of the two tower of the WTC? (Not the one with the antenna  ).

No, Fry was in the Applied Cryogenics building.

Maybe they rebuilt them and made one shorter to honor the loss NYC suffered.

I think they'll built them up and have a nice future after tis hard time!!
It's the same with Spiderman. They'll remake the scene when the helicopter was catched between the towers! Ithis is stupid!!
I don't think that they'll remake all scenes from movies where the WTC was in!!

Maybe they rebuilt the towers, but one of them went throught the ground and is standing on the ruins of ONYC...???

Even if they have already been shown in the ruins of Old NYC, they could always say they were put there by whoever put back the top of the Apollo XI Lunar Module in episode 2 (what was it, the "Historical Sticklers Society"?)...

that's what I meant to say, and one of the towers sunk down further down because of the ruins of ONCY isn't all that stable

Not all of old New York can be sunk oder bombed. Apparently the "Applied Cryogenics" Building Fry was frozen in survived the Alien wars mysteriously. As for the WTC: at least we alwas havbe something to remind us of them. Leave it where it is (in Futurama I mean!)
