Tress MacNeille has always made me laugh. She's in a lot of my favorite cartoons and has great range. Babs Bunny is one of my favorite running characters, and Linda's knowing laugh after Morbo makes anti human remarks tickles me to no end.

Yeah, tress is the best[/John Dimaggio]
But I'd also mention Susie Dietter, she'd made for some great moments on the commentaries. And apparently she directed some episodes as well.
Plus ofcourse the lovely Katey Sagal.

Hattie is that strange old woman with the eye problem, that keeps popping up in places as a "generic character".

Her favorite words are watchamacallit and kajigger, and she owned PE stock in "Futurestock" and the apartment building in "I, Roommate"

Personally, I think all of Tress MacNeille's voices sound too similar. My favorite VA is Billy West, but Maurice Lamarche deserves mention too.

Tress' DVD commetary is nothing short of adorable, what with the reciting of her favorite lines. She's really such a pro at this voice stuff.

Originally posted by Dr. Morberg: Personally, I think all of Tress MacNeille's voices sound too similar. My favorite VA is Billy West, but Maurice Lamarche deserves mention too. I was thinking the same thing. She and John Dimaggio both tend to use the same three or four voices for all the characters. Billy West is my hero as far as voices, as well as Dave Herman. While I am a fan of Maurice, those two guys just blew me out of the water sometimes, I couldn't tell who was doing what voice. My friends tell me I should voice act... Whoring. Boring. Originally posted by KAH: Don't you guys just love Tress's natural voice? It's so great. I like how her normal voice has that "just got up in the morning" quality. It's very casual sounding. I like it.

On the commentaries, she sounds just like the characters she voices, with maybe a slight difference. I don't think she's changing her voice that much, especially compared to voices like Zoidberg and Morbo. However, I do like her natural voice.
