In Futurama there are lots of times when only the second part of the sentence, or the punchline of the joke are heard. But I was wondering, as the title suggests, what is the beginning of the sentence? Please post your ideas here.

A sentence I have always wanted to hear the first part of is "...and the other hamburger will also be made of your lungs" from IITM. Also, post other second halves of sentences here.

I think the point in them is that you don't hear the first part and it is left all to your imagination... but it would be funny to think of beginnings for them. I can't because I am too dumb. Sorry

Yes, I kinda realised that was the point of them ;) but you canīt deny, it would be intresting to hear the first part.

"Be careful Red, you squeal and your lunch one hamburger will be made of your lungs"

Imagine that but a completely different, funny version.

I'll be quiet.

This isn't actually from Futurama, but one of my favourite jokes in that vein comes from South Park, when Mr. Garrison finishes "...and so children, that's how you tell a prostitute from a policeman."  :laff:

A bit off topic, yes, but I will gladly admit, I would LOVE to hear that whole sentence MOV!

(Hermes points to a very detailed diagram)"...and that concludes the summary of the movie I saw last night."  I don't want to go into that one though. ;)

That South Park one is good too.

My favourite one I can think of was in Loves Labours Lost in Space:

*Zap giving a serious (as much as Zap can be) talk to Kif;
"... and that's why you'll never make captain Kif."

Here are beginnings for both the sentences that have been named here
1. The first hamburger will be made from your balls and your lungs and the other hamburger will also be made of your lungs
2.You dont have the stile and charisma that a captain needs an also you smell bad and thatīs the reason youīll never make captain Kif

I doubt Zapp would let Kif off with one sentence. He probably gave him a whole lecture!  :p

The one that I always wanted to hear the beginning of is from "Mars University":

"...and so, by process of elimination, the electron must taste like grape-ade."

He could give an entire lecture about how good he thinks he is.
