Futurama Chat Sucks!

Wow, the Futurama Chat honestly sucks. I go in there to talk about Futurama and mad peoples were just talking about raping men and stupid stuff like that.

Then peoples start calling me gangsta all cause I am PR and from Brooklyn. So they're like ... "yo gangsta, bounce nigga" and all this stuff.

I HIGHLY suggest some moderation. I go to a FUTURAMA CHAT to CHAT about FUTURAMA and then people are acting mad stupid.

Just a thought.

Besides, I'd doubt there would be anything to chat about, seeing as no new Futurama eps are being made. When a new ep aired, I'd imagine a lot of "woo, that was great- what'd y'all think?" "Well, I thought..." etc.
But if you like the off-topic board, the #fc might be good for you too...

Meh.  I liked Futurama Chat better in the old days, back when Edel and Randi were there every night, and meisterP would favor us with endless non sequitors.  It was truly a golden age.

We occasionaly talk about Futurama, usually when a newb like you shows up. But most of the time it's not Futurama talk, as a lot of talk about Futurama has already been talked about!

And men raping others, if you can't handle that, then I suggest you stay faaar away from fc.

Futuramachat sucks... sucks like a fox!

It's just a chatroom. People use it therefore it doesn't "suck". If you want to make a chatroom with rules like 'You have to discuss futurama', go ahead. Whether people will join is not to be said by me, but I expect you will be rather lonely in there. #fc will remain non-sucky as long as people use it, but you're not forced to. I find that it is a good place to hang out when you can't be arsed with working, but want to look busy with something

Chat rooms never or very rarely stay on topic.  Chat rooms are just total anarchy and one big free for all.  It's like a contest to see who can jump higher, run faster, and that sort of thing.

Futuramachat is cool, it started to degenerate when some moron crashed the original irc server with a denial-of-service attack, then the next server we moved to kicked us off because we didn't favor the war in iraq...and while I'm glad Futurama is on Cartoon Network, I think that's really caused the room to degenerate. It's nowhere near most of the chatrooms out there, but it was better. We need the old people, like Gort, Ruben, and Paul, back to restore order (well, maybe not Paul).  But anyways, with that out of the way:

Well #fc is cool, if you have a problem with people mocking you, you mock them back, it should become a full-fledged war. When you win/lose, everyone will realize you're not just a dumb n00b and won't mock you any more on the grounds that you don't speak ghetto any more.

I just spent some time in futuramachat, and I'm totally turned around on the subject.  I can safely say that we're in another golden age.

Meh, I always wished I could've been there back then, see what all this "golden age" is about, but there are some really cool people there now who I like to chat with.   

Also, I was there a few weeks ago when Ben was in, that time of day isn't the best for #fc anyway. But, your point does probably remain true....
