Not enough to make an impression anyways...

Futurama airs in Australia at Tuesdays on 11:30pm, and constantly gets stopped and started every few weeks. It's treated badly and is a very low rated show over here. Also, as Rage Dump pointed out - there are about 2 Queenslanders here, so what's the point?
Bye bye thread...

Bye bye thread... Yeah I got frustrated with te changing timetabales and staying up late nights so i just downloaded all 72 episodes, watched them all in a week and now it breaks me that i might never see another original episode of futurama again!

Ummmm... talking about episode downloading is against the rules. Word of advice: Don't do it again - for your own sake.
Also, about "staying up late nights" - there is a certain invention called the VCR...

Don't do it again? I've got them all already and besides why bother with the vcr when i can have a comprehensive library of Futurama on my computer - It's every Futurama fans dream. I must assume that u have a very scabby download limit or 56-gay.

Don't do it again as in "don't talk about it on PEEL again." And for the record, I DO have a 56k modem, but I download a helluva lot for that (about 1 or 2gb a month). I'm not saying that I personally don't have any Futurama episodes on my computer, but I have the DVD's so I don't really see the problem. And looking at the way you phrased that last post, I highly doubt you're supporting the show by buying the DVD's.

So far. Season 4's coming out next year.
Look, I'm just saying that you shouldn't talk about episode downloads on PEEL as you're probably going to get in trouble with the mods/admins.

No. You can mention THAT you downloaded stuff, you just can't mention WHERE you got them from. ::Points to "How do you watch Futurama" thread for proof::

i now have all seasons of futurama and its so rewarding having them on dvd but i have now watched 3 of the four discs of the last season and im well upset cos i have only one mre to go, but its so rewarding having them on dvd and everyone should buy them. The people who watch it on there computers are missing out on the hilarious commentry which includes billy wests beatboxing skills!

Most of them are poor quality anyway on the computers but I must admit, downloading them has destoyed every possibility of me ever buying the dvd. And its the tv networks to blame for not giving me the required dose of futurama. I never even considered downloadng an episode of the simpsons. That's because the networks have fulfilled my comic needs regarding th simpsons

I've downloaded every single episode of Futurama, and I'm still buying the DVD's (I already have Season 1, I'm getting Seasons 2 & 3 for Christmas and I'll definately buy Season 4 next year when it comes out). There's definately enough material on the DVD's to make you want to buy them, no matter how many times you've seen each episode. Hell, the audio commentaries alone make them worth buying.
Still, you should support the show. You can't just use "I don't want to buy them because I downloaded the episodes because they didn't air them enough" as an excuse. Sure, the TV stations didn't air Futurama regularly - and that's a good reason for downloading them. However, downloading them is NOT a good excuse for not buying the DVD's. That's just plain cheap and selfish.

It won't be random, Channel 7 have been following Season 5, which is the same as FOX originally aired in the US....but the episodes are out of order which sucks.... We were supposed to get The Why Of Fry a couple weeks ago and I'm still waiting.... Bastards....
