There's an easter egg on one of the DVDs where it shows Prof. Farnsworth wearing nothing but a pnk ribbon tied around his waist, saying he wants Mom or something.

EDIT:

Here it is (I made a scan of it):

It's "A Flight To Remember" on Disc 3, go Scene Selection, and select the button that says "Do not push"...

Me too! IT's really good (except june *shudder!*) I like that it says who was born on each day of the year. The only problem is that it's all the american holidays and i'm english. - oh well!

Why would they put that pic of prof for an easter egg? It will put people off buying the next DVDs! I'm just glad that i'm too lazy to look for any Easter eggs! *shudder*

There's really nothing gross about Futurama.   Real things are grosser than anything on a cartoon.

I thought that the grossest scene in Futurama was when we were going through Fry's bowels in Parasites Lost. I didn't find human Bender to be all that gross, and Fry's suicide was more horrifying than gross to me. I was a bit shocked at the fact that they actually showed it, but other than that, it was fine.

LEELA EATS FRY'S KIDNEY!
(Murder on the Planet Express)

This is what came to mind for me as well, but it's not really that bad. Perhaps I've just been desensitised to what's considered "gross" by normal people.

Leela eating Fry's kidney in "Murder on the Planet Express," though yucky, doesn't bother me as much as Leegola eating people's bodily organs in "Bender's Game"--the latter disturbs me not only because it's a gross visual, but because it is a gross exaggeration of Leela's propensity towards physical violence.

Anyway, I don't think there's much on Futurama that's unwatchably disgusting, but I do think the new run has far more instances of deliberately gross-out humor than the original run. To that end, the most cringe-worthy moment of seasons six and seven, for me, comes in "Attack of the Killer App"--and, no, it's not the puking goat; rather, it's the installation of the eyePhone in Fry's, you know, head: the eye- and ear-hammering noises are so, so nasty.

I was recently disgusted by a moment in "I Second That Emotion" when Bender stirred cake batter without washing his hands.

The eyePhone installation definitely got a grimace from me.

I actually found those quite hilarious (at least, compared to the rest of the episode). Then again, I usually find electronics being forced into people's eye sockets amusing.

It's an outrage, I tell you. Futurama is encouraging poor hygiene. By permitting such atrocities to be viewed by millions of people, many of them children who idolize the characters and mimic their actions as best they can. Not only does this act teach children to create cakes for popularity instead of kindness, but it teaches them to stir with their hands, thus infecting everyone around them with whatever disease an alien pet might carry! What happened to good, family shows like Reading Rainbow and Dragon Tales? Kids that teach children morals and responsibilities that come with childhood? They would NEVER allow such an atrocity. Not only does "I Second That Emotion" promote animal abuse, it also condemns personal hygiene and endorses the intentional spreading of alien diseases. Anyone who could sit through such a monstrous episode is a horrible person and deserves to be sentenced to hell for all of eternity along with anyone they have come into contact with so as to prevent any further contamination of the world's good people.

This has inspired me to throw out my season 2 dvd so I never have to see this nasty, vile piece of work again. All I could say about this episode was that I don't want to live on this planet anymore!

What actually comes closest to gross in Futurama might be the sound of putting nose in Smell-O-Scope (well, maybe kidney-eating as well).

However, I do appreciate those exaggerated, disgusting sound effects. It's a small touch, but so funny the way it's done.

Benders Game is weird. It almost doesn't feel official with its especially ott violence and raunchiness.

I don't recall Bender's Game being particularly violent? I can think of plenty of moments of "OTT violence" in other episodes (Fry's suicide scene in Meanwhile, for example). Same goes for the raunchiness (Spanish Fry, In-a-Gadda-da-Leela)...

Hell, I wouldn't even say it's the raunchiest of the four DVD movies! That title would definitely go to The Beast With a Billion Backs.

I'm more saying the sex and violence doesn't fit with the traditional Futurama style, not so much that it's the most explicit. There've been ridiculous moments of innuendo and referencing before, but never Leela and Amy straight up making out. Same with the violence. There's not usually masses of blood and gouging, at least before Benders Game.

Plus, it should be noted that at least half of Bender's Game is set in a rather questionable reality, so the heightened violence and things like Leela and Amy making out are far less jarring in context (much like, say, the entire Leela segment in the first Anthology of Interest, back during the Fox run).

At the risk of going round in circles, I'm not saying it's worse. Just different. And those moments didn't really have much blood. It's just red and white.
