First, I hope I have the right forum for this, as it concerns news about someone we all know:  Sean Blendon.  If it's not in the correct place, I'd appreciate it if one of the Ubermods would kindly relocate it.

I just received news from Sean regarding his condition.  Here it is in his own words:  "I'm out of hospital at last, food never improves so thankful for some home
cooking at last.

The latest operation on my hand was a success although I still have to have
a cast on it, until the doctors think the metal plates have started to help
strengthen the bones a bit."

That's the good news.  The bad news is that he's without a PC of his own, requiring that he use one in a local library with "56k shudder".  He says this means he won't be able to do his art for a while.  He's going to try to borrow a PC, but failing that, his local library's machine will be his only connection with his Internet friends.

He closes by saying he'd be grateful if someone would mention this on PEEL.  Consider it done, my friend!  Just hope I got all the facts right.
