Hmmm..i know it's frustrating to have no one guess the correct answer yet, but we're trying our best! 
I don't see how a phrase that a hippy might say helped Fry win the fight to the death.  Unless hippies say 'frenzy', in which case it was the fact that the frenzy started is what saved Fry in the contest.  But Fry lost his arm, and that somehow gave him the upper hand in the battle... but what about a spice weasel?  oh and I still have th X-mas give to figure out.
In the battle, Fry wanted peace, right?  Hippies say "Peace" right?  People wish for world peace for X-mas!  Of course!  And the Spice Weasel....um..the spice weasel... aw crap.

We know that the kitchen implement is a spice weasel, and that the hippy thing helped Fry in WMIBACIL.

The phrase gave Fry a head start, and it's something a certain hippy likes to say a lot.

Only contest I remeber in WMIBACIL is the Clawphagh (sp?) And in that Fry is assisted by an giant nutcracker, edna's scream and his own arm. Now I can't rember any hippies making coments about arms, nutcrackers or Edna so I'm lost on that one.

Only (major) hippy I remeber is Free Waterfall Jr. But he is only in one ep.

Xmas gift could still be anything.

This one is really getting to me!

Yay! Shadowstar has it! The hippy reference was rather obscure. Basically, Free Waterfall Jr. likes to say 'shut up!' and:

Wow, nobody has even guessed yet... well, all I can think of is that in the last three, somebody drives a non-space vehicle at some point... but  that happens other times and I can't think of a connection in A Flight to Remember... so, that was a really bad guess...

It would really help if I'd seen 300BB, but SOMEONE steals/is about to steal something and gives it back. I also have these which don't quite fit in:
Zoidberg is revealed to have a special abiltity/feature (WMIBACIL, BITW (possibly his strength in AFTR))
Bender gets injured/attacked (AFTR, BITW)
