I just saw a promotion for "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings"

They might as well advertise, as they will probably never need to again! Ohh, I made myself sad.

I have also seen this - at 12:30 in the morning. Figures they finally plug the show and they do it when nobody else is watching.

thats all well and good, now will you people please stop posting 'oh yeah i saw it too!' and actually TELL us what was in it? Those of us who havn't seen it could care less who all of you have seen it, all we want is a description!

Could someone else who also saw it please post a description of the promotion? I could not post anything about it since my vcr is not working. And I could not recored it.

FOX executive: "Hey, I remember this show! It's about...no, wait, I don't."

I couldn't care less to see what was in the promo, since the actual episode is now less than 24 hours away.

Actually, considering that Fox is going to be airing Futurama reruns in the same timeslot for many of the weeks until the Futurama-less fall season starts, it makes sense for them to advertise it.

All right, a description - basically, the announcer says "FOX Sunday - will Fry win Leela's heart?" It shows Fry on stage trying to play the Holphonor and the audience recoiling in disgust at how lousy he is, and Zoidberg says "I watch TV with that guy!" It then shows various shots with "Last Futurama" inserted everywhere as the announcer says "It's the final episode of 'Futurama'!". It then shows Leela sitting alone in the empty theater as Fry continues to play, and she says "I want to see how it ends".

Believe it or not its not the last episode on FOX. "Kif Gets Knocked Up..." is scheduled for next week at 7:00PM
