It would have been nice if Donald Sutherland could have been at the head museum, even just in the background. Since he was the museum curator in the Simpsons episode where Lisa outed Jebidiah Springfield as a vicious pirate, it would have been a nice bit of symmetry.

only one problem in that, the simpsons only exist in the futurama as a comic book, as evidenced in the simpsons - futurama crossover crisis comic

Stephen Colbert, at least a Barak Obama reference (face on a bill), ST:TNG crew, SG1 cast (original with Richard Dean Anderson).

John Goodman! Come on, who doesn't want to hear John Goodman do Santa again? Not to say John Dimaggio doesn't do an amazing job. I'm sorry if I spelt your name wrong John D.  :)

that would be awesome, especially if he was one of Zapp's generals or maybe even a Tek Jansen appearance

I am all for Guest voices....but I don't want them to be forced in there like the Simpsons have been doing of late.
The Simpson's seem to be picking a guest and writing the episode around them.....the show suffers...

I would like another Conan O'Brien Appearence...

Patrick Stewart!
Ah yes ... I don't know if bringing Picard to the mix will stir things up TOS related, but I think he could play a rival ship captain of Zapp who has more success with Leela than Zapp does.

That's an awesome idea. It's so rare to hear good ideas on this forum.

I'd love to see Nicolas Cage on the show because he's recently become my favourite thing in the world (mostly in an ironic way, you understand).

That might actually happen... I mean, he's appeared on AD and FG as different roles. He kinda used to animated shows.

May his character be called Dickard! Naah, Pecard?
No? :)

And Stephen Fry. Preferably as the voice of the Hitchhiker's Guide.

Sorry to bump this one but I missed my turn waah...

Top three guest voices / characters:

1) Jon Lovitz - that man just cracks me up whether in real life or as a voice cameo
2) James Earl Jones - The coolest voice ever!
3) Eddie Murphy - don't like the man personally but just imagine a wise cracking robot with his voice

There would have been a fourth (and actually 1st on the list) but unfortunately the guy is no longer with us...Phil Hartman...Billy does a brilliant job imitating Phil for Zapp but no one can come close...just imagine Lionel Hutz/Troy McClure in a Claret velour uniform...checkmate

I gotta agree, Jon Lovitz' voice is so high-energy and hilarious, he'd be great doing those old movie theatre wartime updates.

My thread is much more better, and the grammar is well gooder, but maybe merging them is a good idea.

Helena Bonham Carter, Cate Blanchett, Mila Jovovich, Joanna Lumley, Ben Whishaw, Michael Cera, Tara Strong, Cree Summer, Andrew Garfield and Jane Horricks.   And Jennifer Tilly.

He's got an interesting voice, he's proven himself adept at voice-over work (see Portal 2 or those adverts he does) and he's not even a complete unknown with the US market either.

I'd love to see him as some sort of big, gangly alien.

I personally would love to see Jean Smart (Pickles Oblong) appear.

I'd rather they focus on episodes that mesh well with established continuity and tell engaging stories that are character driven and setting-appropriate (ie: science fiction inspired plotlines as opposed to satires of current events), rather then on cramming guest stars into the show at the moment. But it might help to drive up interest in the show if they got a few high-profile popular celebrities in for the latter half of S7.

Wow, this is an old thread.

I'd still love to see Stephen Colbert. He has a natural talent for using his voice and has done a bunch of voice-overs in the past.

Most of the other guest stars I'd want to see would either be professional voice actors or comedians.
