Is Futurama back on the air?

Is Futurama back on the air? Coz there are new episodes and I am confused! Is there going to be another season? Please, I need a response on this! I *MUST* know....

How to answer this? Umm, no there isn't gonna be another season. FOX is just running the remaning unaired eps. After this week's episode(s), Futurama will return in summer...where the series will finish.

No.  The new eps currently airing are stragglers.  There are, what, nine eps left until we hit the end.  Even though these eps haven't been aired before, they've been "in the can" for two or three decades now.  Once again, thank you Fox.

Incidentally, have FOX actually said Futurama will return in the summer?  So far all I hear is "The Why of Fry" on Sunday, followed by nearly two months of pre-emptions.

I would think that Fox will state right before they air this episode, "and now, the season finale for Futurama!", and leave the rest for next "season".

It's only "back" in the sense that Fox has another 8 episodes unaired.  The production of the series is over, has been over for more than a year, with the final 8 "new" episodes spread over either the summer or next season.

*72 episodes of Futurama have been produced
*63 episodes have aired on FOX.
*"The Why of Fry" will be the 64th to air.
*This leaves 8 unaired episodes
*No new episodes are being produced.
