Since Farnsworth doesn't own PE, he's as much an employee as Scuffy is. The closest thing to an owner of PE at that time was Zoidberg, since he had majority control.

So do I.      Keep in mind, that if Farnsworth had not been the single owner of Planet Express, Cubert would have never been able to take over Planet Express, fire the Professor and Hermes and rename it Awesome Express.
