Zoidberg is a great character, because there is absolutely no reason why anyone should like him, and yet most viewers feel sorry for him when he is slapped/insulted/fed a dog.

If you mean his "Woop woop" escaping sound I think it's hilarious and it reduces me to tears every time. Sure, any more silly and he would just be there to attract kids to the show, but as he is he's just so funny.

The neat thing is, you don't have to know about the Three Stooges to find that sound funny. I know a little about them, and I don't find them funny (damn, now I'm going to be crucified by the Americans) yet I still laugh every time I hear Zoidy wooping.

I miss his scuttling.

Some people will hate one joke while others will love it. I thought the "Then lose some weight" joke was really funny because its one of those double-punchline jokes. I thought quite a few of the jokes in "Insane In The Mainframe" were pretty unfunny especially the scene in the courtroom. It was only the Hyper-Chicken Lawyer that stopped that scene from turning into a complete pigs ear!
