What should the Season 5 premier episode be?

I think it'd be cool if "Less Than Hero" was the premier. I just think it would fit the bill.

Either we'll get a great Kif/Amy story, or we'll finally get a proper introduction of Dwight.

I don't agree.  David X. Cohen has said that "The Devil's Hands..." has been written to be the final episode if the show is cancelled.

I think "The Why of Fry" should open Season 5, it's apparently a high profile episode in terms of major revelations.

'Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles' or 'Less Than Hero' might be good, because it'd mean getting absolutely awful-sounding episodes out of the way early on. To start with something good, though, they couldn't go wrong with 'Kif Gets Knocked Up A Notch', but I imagine they'll use 'Route Of All Evil'.

I agree that FOX should show Route to all Evil soon because:

1. It should have been shown two seasons ago
2. People can stop wondering who the hell that kid with dreadlocks is in certain episodes.
3. Its postponement may hinder a S3 DVD release
4. I've always wondered if Cubert died in that episode, or at least some other explanation on his absence (but hopefully the first one)

ANYTHING!!! It's better than Fox showing nothing but Simpsons reruns. But I'm really curious about "Kif Gets Knocked up a Notch". That should be one of the first ones.

And yes the new dumb episodes reruns are that bad of the Simpsons,I would see fox's same 3or4 cut up movies than them.

I wanted see "Why Of Fry" as the first episode of the 5th season.

One thing for sure.  "Season 5" is the last chance Futurama has to get some ratings points and be un-cancelled.  If any of your family or friends are in the ratings pool call them endlessly to make them watch the show.  In fact, break into their homes and watch it on their TVs if you have to.

Looks like the FOX Shared Braincell had a little spark left in it.

From a fan POV there really wasn't any alternative to this episode. It's the last one from the 3ACV-batch and we've already seen Dwight twice, so it's about time we get a proper intro.

From a capture-new-fans POV I think they would've fared better with "Kif Gets Knocked Up A Notch".

All this is assuming they'll actually air an episode on November 10th.

I don't know, Route of All Evil sounds pretty crappy. I want them to start the season on a strong note.

Then again, it's being pre-empted in my area too, so I guess it doesn't matter. Grrr.

FOX screws with the schedule so much, I'll be happy with anything.  I'm sure they'll pre-empt the first episode this year just like last year(I live in the eastern pre-emption zone).  I didn't get to see Roswell That Ends Well until they replayed it last month. 

I too am getting sick of the Simpsons reruns taking out my Futurama reruns!  I like the Simpsons, but the episodes they show are poor (this describes most of this last seasons eps.!).  Leave Futurama alone.
