Not sure if this has been done before but, oh well, basically you sign up here (By just saying 'I'm in' or 'Boxy Robot is so clever' ) and I will create a list with all of your names on and each week we work through the list as a member chooses a Futurama episode for all of the sign-ups to watch and post a review of (We decide a day for the reviews to be posted, I recommend a weekend) if this works it should be really interesting, if it doesn't well at least we can all laugh about it


Week One : Scrappylive - "Mars University"
Week Two : Solid Gold Bender - "Parasites Lost"
Week Three : Beanoz4 - "The Farnsworth Parabox"
Week Four : pumpkinpie - "Roswell That Ends Well"
Week Five : Madison - "Jurassic Bark"
Week Six : delivery-boy man
Week Seven : futurefreak
Week Eight : Inquisitor Hein
Week Nine : Boxy Robot
Week Ten : Question Machine

Similar things have been tried before. People tend to lose interest after a week or so.

Hey, I managed to sustain interest in the Random Order Test for at least a month. Get your facts straight, man!

And this actually sounds kind of neat, Boxy Robot, and definitely doable. I've been on other message boards where people have done group rewatches of a series, episode-by-episode, week-by-week--and they tend to go all right. Godspeed with this one, sir.

So the rules say "a member chooses a Futurama episode." Who exactly chooses it? Does the reviewer choose it for him/herself or are we gonna go episode-by-episode (starting with 1ACV01)? We could also employ a random number generator.

Well the first person, as you have said it's you, chooses any episode from any season that you think would be interesting for us all to discuss together. Say you choose "Bendless Love" well you would reveal this choice on Monday giving enough time for everyone to watch it ready to post their review on the Saturday (Trying to be as in depth as possible saying what you liked, didn't and what could be better etc.) You could also add screenshots to make it look professional, whatever...

So anyway, next Monday (30th) you will post your episode choice (Don't worry if you forget, I'll send you a message). We will then be given the week to watch and consider what to include on our review that will be posted on the Saturday (5th) Understand?

I would like to be added to the list Boxy Robot. This could prove entertaining during the wait for Season 7.

It's sorta been done before as people mentioned, but this is only one episode per week. I'd have a go at that. It would bring more focus I think, like when we review regularly aired episodes.

Well he's got until Monday but I guess it's better if he chooses it earlier so people will have the weekend to watch it (I'm guessing that Saturday is the day most people watch the show) I'll PM him now

Just to remind everyone that your reviews should be in by tomorrow so if you haven't watched "Mars University" yet, pull out your Season 1 box set from under your bed, cupboard, fridge, safe etc. and watch the episode!
