Well, these sort of polls just keeps getting more and more difficult. They're all good in one way or another. The only episodes that fell through, IMNSHO, was "AOI II" and "A Pharaoh To Remember". My three favourite episodes of the season is "Roswell That Ends Well", "Leela's Homeworld" and "Where No Fan Has Gone Before". For different reasons though. "Roswell" was just so damn funny, and some of the coolest CGI's yet in the show. "Leela's Homeworld", well who wouldn't love that episode. It was great, and the montage/song at the end was just too damn cute. "Where no Fan...", well I am a trekkie, so.... "A Leela Of Her Own" is definitely the most underrated episode of the season. It was hillarious, I still laugh out loud when I see Leela bean down a batter. I love it (just look at my avatar)Okay, I'll throw in my vote with "Roswell". If it had included Amy and Hermes in some way, it could rival "Xmas Story". But it's only inches ahead of "Leela's Homeworld" and "Where No Fan....". Inches, I tell you, inches!

It was close between A Pharoah to Remember and Love and Rocket. These two eps contain the two best lines in Futurama - ever.
From "Love and Rocket": Lrrr: The concept of wuv confuses and infuriates us!!
From "Pharoah to Remember": Scruffy: I've never seen him so down. Or ever before.
Leela: Impressive. Who's building it? Bird (he signs his name as a picture of a bird): You. Leela: Say again? Bird: You are now slaves of the great Pharoah Hamenthatep!
Bird: Great Wall of Prophecy, reveal to us God's will that we may blindly obey. People of Osiris 4: Free us from thought and responsibility. Bird: We shall read things off you. People: And do them. Bird: Your words guide us. People: We're dumb.

"Godfellas" is definitely a classic, but I didn't think it was as well rounded as "Roswell That Ends Well".

"Godfellas" is too Bender-centered to be a truely classic. In my opinion the classic episodes usually are the ones that make use of as many major characters as possible. Just take one of my all-time faves, "Xmas Story", as a perfectly good example. "Godfellas" is a great episode, but, much like that lovely, underappreciated episode "A Leela Of Her Own", it focuses to much on one character to really take off.
I think the only season 4 episode that can rival "Roswell" when talking about sheer comedy is "Where No Fan Has Gone Before". On the emotional list, "Leela's Homeworld" is the undisouted winner.

It's impossible to pick a fave - there are son many that are double plus good. But right now I'm leaning toward Love and Rocket. I guess my antique aero engineering degree is showing, but I think Planet Express Ship rates a babe alert.
