I don't know if it's my favorite planet, but I would like to see the Mob Planet.

Actually, the Milky Way is barred spiral galaxy. I was devastated when I first found this out. It was like everything I knew was wrong!

You beat me to the post. Yes, it's a barred spiral. Mayhaps it's a subtle, diffused bar? My favorite planet in the Futurama universe might be Pluto, because thinking of tempura batter makes me hungry.

Well, if wiki says it Astronomers first began to suspect that the Milky Way is a barred spiral galaxy, rather than an ordinary spiral galaxy, in the 1990s. Their suspicions were confirmed by the Spitzer Space Telescope observations in 2005 which showed the galaxy's central bar to be larger than previously suspected.then it must be true, surely.

Well, it would take a while to launch a probe way out of the plane and beam back a photo. This is an artistic rendering based on the latest Spitzer data. Though apparently some scientists think our bar might be a little bigger than imagined in this image.

Yes. The Neutral Planet. Thats a classic.
But I always found the name of the planet Tweenis 12 to be funny, even if the big brains destroyed it early on!
