If CGEF's eps review is any indication, Futurama is getting alot mo' popular from the previous seasons(total Reviews):

S1- 94 reviews
S2- 200 reviews
S3- 236 reviews
S4- 623 reviews    :eek: !!!!

It's partly due to the CGEF review thingy only being up since season 4. The reason why S3 probably got more reviews than season 2 even though it had less episodes is that ... you might not believe it ... many people didn't even see season 1 & 2. CGEF attracts people who just happen to type 'Futurama' in google/yahoo once.

Also a lot of people only want to review what's recently aired, rather than what they havn't seen for ages if at all.
