Anyone know how to find out about the upcoming show?  "War is the H Word" sounds like it's going to be fantastic!

A really great way to find out about the show would be to sit down in front of your TV at 7:00 on Sunday, switch the channel to your local FOX affiliate (WNYW-5 in my area), and watch it.

Well... I don't like Zapp Brannigan, so I'm not too excited. But I'm sure there will be some funny points anyway. How long does it normally take from the episode is shown at Fox, till we Norwegians can download it here and see it ourselves?

New Jersey is not just a joke to New Yorkers. People in LA understand Jersey jokes. As for people in Oklahoma... well, I didn't know they had TVs there yet, much less the Internet. Congratulations!

Anyway, as to _why_ Jersey is a joke, that's a bigger question.

Back in the 19th century, New York was the commercial center of the US, while Jersey was a bunch of farms and swamps. So New Yorkers made fun of Jersey as a redneck middle-of-nowhere kind of place.

Later, much of Jersey became a massive factory complex, and other parts became low-rent suburbs for people who couldn't afford to live in the Bronx. So the jokes changed a little.

But the basic idea is that people from Jersey are lower-middle-class uncouth non-cosmopolitan types with weird accents and big hair.

Crap.  I missed the first half of Sunday's show and those fargin corksuckers at FOX broke-in on the last ten minutes to cover the certification of the Florida votes!  Futurama  is getting pooch-screwed.

Back to the original topic, I think "war is the h-word" is one of the best episodes ever.
I like that Zapp Branigan meets "Starship Troopers" and "M*A*S*H"-Story.
And it brings an answer to the question whether Leela has a crush on Fry or not.
Does anybody know if it was Henry Kissingers real voice, a good parody or my Computer which made the head sound so real?

It doesn't bring an answer, it just raises further questions, this type of thing happens in about half the episodes.
I think its fairly obvious she does like Fry, I think the real question is does she like him enough to ignore his stupidity.
