What was your fave joke from each movie?

Mine were:

BBS - The Al Gore cameos - 'Roboooooot' and 'Damn, with that $100 I could have bought...1 gallon of gas!'

BWABB - Stephen Hawking's eye lasers - 'I didn't know I could do that'

BG - The robot asylum, such as the 'relaxation therapy' complete with rats, swinging axe blade, and alarm. But Roberto as the mad king of Wipe Castle was a close second.

ITWGY - The poker tournament with Bender's guitar riffs and Lrrr's insecurities. Oh, and the 'evolutionary arms race' film was a laugh. I'm still wondering - were the Dark Ones the snakes or the frogs? I need to know! ><"

The Mad Hatter robot from BG was the only good thing about it.

I had an idea about that. Take a look at my first (and so far only) post on Page 14 of the ITWGY Reviews thread, particularly the last paragraph, and see what you think.

"What the hell does that mean?"
(A la Hermes from BWaBB, thus sort of keeping with the idea of this thread but also expressing my confusion about your post, Dr. Nye.)

I meant close thread in the way the mad hatter-bot may say it.

Alot of the Number 9 Guy stuff is my personal favorite, like the bit when he try's to explain where the dark ones and the encyclopods are and Hutch heats his soup with the... whatever that thing is

BBS: I really like Bender's line "It's a street corner telephone parlor!" I'm also partial to what may be the best four-word plot twist indicator ever- "My hair! My larynx!"

BWaBB: I like the Professor's lead-in of "According to this blinking light..."

BG: I didn't find this movie very funny (or good, for that matter), but I suppose Dr. Perceptron's "group therapy" gag was pretty good.

ITWGY: I love the wordplay, and not just Frida's Feminista work (To me, the best one is also the worst- "And where's my mega-fem?"); I am rather impressed with the grammar joke of Hutch's line "It's better than good, it's better!"

That's what I suspected, but I wanted to be sure. Why does this thread need to be closed?

BBS: Jewish TIE Fighter

BWABB: "Not the crackslam!"

BG: "Rrrrrrednecks!!"

ITWGY: Zapp singing "Hungry Like The Wolf".....funniest thing I've heard in years.

It's hard to pick out individual lines from most of the movies so...

BBS: The first part how they are explaining that they're back.

BWABB: The whole storyline involving the league of robots.

BG: Leela: Is that a hobbit?
Bender: No, that's a hobo and a rabbit; but they're making a hobbit :laff:

ITWGY: The poker tournament.

BBS: "Kiss my front butt"

BWABB: "No Schlit"

BG: "I'm just talkin' 'bout the shaaaaft!" *gets kicked in the face*

ITWGY: Fry's mix up with mind reading and invisibility

These were more quotes than gags, but everyone else seemed to be doing it. I wanted to be popular.
