I was wondering if anyone knew what was the name of the song at the end of tonights show

RacerX made a post about it in another post (http://www.peelified.com/cgi-bin/showpage.cgi?Forum=1&Thread=001043), but that post was about the character songs..so I figured id make a post about it cause i would really like to know.

Thanks

It's "Baby Love Child" by Pizzicato Five.  I was looking for it too.  Gort said he heard it from some one in the newsgroup.  :)

Yup, it's "Baby Love Child" from Pizzicato Five's "Made in USA" album...when I heard the song tonight, it brought back some memories from long ago.

Man, that is a GREAT song!  That band goes back to 1987, so why haven't I ever heard of them before?  Is all their stuff that good?

The song sora reminded me of Cyndi Lauper's "When You Love" from Rugrats In Paris.

And speaking of Rugrats... weren't the voices of the two kids at the orphanarium done by the same girl who does Phil and Lil?

Actually, I think the song is "When Your In Love" and it is sung by Sinead O'Connor.  Lauper's got another song in there that is great too.

Yes, my 5 year old made me buy the soundtrack too...

Nix, sarcasm is not a lost art. It's just missing :) Second I saw Rugrats in Paris too. Yes I know, I'm to be shunned for life. Boo-hoo! (See, sarcasm :)) Anyway, it was cute, but I'm not so sure I want to see the third movie coming out. They're going to bring the Thornberrys into the mix. Oh your God!

The songs from both topics of discussion are pretty cool.

The plot hasn't been revealed, except that it will involve the cast of The Wild Thornberrys.

Reason enough to avoid it.

Kath Soucie, the actress we're talking about, also voiced Cubert, Guenter, and Michelle, but we'll forgive her.

Well, I checked out Pizzicato Five, and unfortunately, the rest of their stuff is, to my ears, nowhere near as good as Baby Love Child.

Yeah. For the above, Kryten you're right. They're stretching it now.
