Actually, I don't know what you're talking about.  I know it has something to do with TechTV and Futurama.  What else?

Well, we all wish you good luck, Sarge!  :)

Think of it this way: You get to tell FOX how bitchy they are, and you get to be on TV!  :D

Well, I'm glad that's over with. Talk about drymouth. I'm glad they broadcast it to tape for editing because I had a few mental blocks during it. I was polite, I didn't flame anybody. I mentioned PEEL & CGEF & Springfield USA. I didn't name names, except for M. Groening & Claudia & Fox in general. And I told them Kryten wears a pink tutu.  :laff: J/K!!

Oh, it airs tomorrow (Tuesday) on TechTV between 6 & 7pm. A lot of cable companies carry it. Supposedly mine does, anyway. Gotta find that channel!

Mine doesn't carry TechTV, but my friend's satellite company does.  I'm going to have to get him to tape if for me.

To all in the Burbank/Glendale area with Charter Communications cable, it's on channel 29.
Now this 6 to 7pm time, I'm not sure how it applies to the East coast or other time zones. It might air simultaneously, or there might be -3 hours difference. I'm not sure.

Been away for awhile. I figured you would be the other interview Sarge. For those interested I was able to hook up with TechTV on Sunday night. I happened to be in the SF area and help out. They came to our hotel room and filmed an interview before the show and then filmed alot while we were watching.
Like Sarge, I did the best I could. Plenty of times after the fact I think of things I could have brought up and didn't. But such is life. I tried to talk about as much as I could figuring they coule edit out what they wanted. It was a pleasant exprience to say the least and glad I was able to participate and help.
To my knowledge the show will air tomorrow (Tuesday) between 6 and 7 so set your VCR's. It sounds like it will be a good piece (the cameraman is a fan so definitely had a personal interest int his story coming out good)
What would be next? Would it be beneficial to contact local newsmedia to alert them to this story airing? I believe a companion piece will also appear on their website as well.

eastern times:
4 p.m.  Tech Live
5 p.m.  Call For Help
6 p.m.  Big Thinkers
6:30 p.m.  Tomorrow's World
7 p.m.  The Screen Savers
8:30 p.m.  Big Thinkers
9 p.m.  Tech Live

They loop the shows 2-3 times through the night.

I am pretty sure it will be the 9-10 pm eastern time slot, as that is when they broadcast the first time, and it will loop until that time tomorow with about 6 other shows.

Hey Bendo! So they did get a hold of you. Alright, a PEEL reunion on TV! Sounds like you had the more relaxed atmosphere for the shoot. I was in a black room with 4 lights blaring on me.....for a moment, I believed that I saw,..........( Picard-"THERE...ARE...FOUR...LIGHTS!!!:laff: )

I just checked my TV Guide listings and I get the show - except its on a digital cable channel that I don't get. I get up to channel 60 and its on 101. But... a friend does have digital... I'm getting an idea.

I amazed that we'll acctually get it up here (in Canada) i though that it would be one of the few shows that we don't get.

Oh well, got to go call that friend...

Thanks for the pep talk, HJS.
I said what I said, but had more to add to it. I was the closest thing that TechTV had as a representative of Fox, so they made me 'seem' that way as a balance. TV's a lot trickier than it seems.
Overall, I think TechTV did a very good job presenting the fans' points of view. That's what the bulk of the segment was all about.

they knew what they wanted before you even opened your mouth and of course they got it, because they are the ones who edited it.

Velour, I was pleased with the whole Futurama section they did. Including me. They needed a villian, & I was John Lithgow.

By the way, did you actually 'see' the show?
