I was on the internet at school and i was just browsing when I came across a page on Friends [one of my other fave shows] and for anyone who watches / has watched friends and knows julie [ross's girlfriend from the end of season 1 and begining of season 2], well, i was quite suprised to find out that she was played by Lauren Tom, Amy.

So, I thought i'd make this thread and it's for any-thing to do with futurama eps or the background of futurama that when you saw it you thought "huh, didn't know that"  .

I did a search and couldn't find this but if one has been done before - sorry and please close it!

also this is for INTERESTING THINGS like Leela is seen with 2 eyes in the puddle in Amizon Women In The Mood, not Bender is a robot

If you can't find any special thread for something you found somewhere else but that is somehow related to Futurama:

Oh - sorry then But it wasn't ment to be just about things that remind you of futurama but things in futurama that you only just noticed

Germanfryfan, not being insulting, just wanted to say that if you had understood Pazuzu's post clearly when you read it, you should have realized that the thread topic was much different from those of the threads you posted links to.
I understood completely.

Anyway, Pazuzu, it wasn't until I saw A Bicyclops Built For Two that I realized that Leela was voiced by Katey Sagal...that very much surprised me when I found out.

Yeah, that I didn't notice until it was pointed out on the commentary.  Had to go back and check.

I didn't realize that I'd already seen Katey Sagal in Smart House about... god, what was it, 7 or 8 years ago now?  I was in my little "yay, I love Zoog Disney!" tween phase, and it was one of the many movies I saw during that period.  Didn't quite click until I read an article about her just recently, actually.

I'd always thought he meant something about it not mattering about cause and effect because of their time travel.  I didn't realize until I was browsing the dictionary much later that it's an actual principle. 
(Yes, I occasionally leaf through the dictionary.  I like looking for either ridiculously long words or words with interesting definitions.)
Just adds another layer of awesomeness.
