Are there any moments in Futurama when a character does or says something that defines his/her character?

In "Love and Rocket", Fry gives Leela all his remaining oxygen so that she can save herself (and Bender, I guess).  Then he dies.  To me, that's always been a pretty defining moment.

After saving the day, when Leela realizes what Fry has done (that is:  U leave me breathless), she revives him.  I've always thought those moments (Fry giving Leela his oxygen; then Leela realizing what Fry has done) not only defined Fry's selfless love, but was a critical part of the romance between Leela and Fry.
