They should've done the robot fighting episode NOW

With Battlebots, Robotica and all the other robot fighting shows on these days I think that the "Bender becomes a robot fighter" episode should of been done now. It would have been 100X funnier ripping on Battlebots and the likes. Any opinions?

and the robot fighting tv shows were also around then as well.
The robot fighting in futurama most likey evolved from the shows of present day.  It would be hard to parody them because they don't exist in the year 3000

I did see the episode. What I'm saying is that if they put more Robot fighting jokes in it (based on all the new shows that have robots fight) it would have been better. Not that it was a bad episode but you get my "drift".
