On the closed captioning, I saw Fry's first name 'Philip' is spelled with one L.  One some fanfics, and I read some fanfics, and I  think in the comics as well, his name is spelled with two Ls.

So, which is right?  'Philip' or 'Phillip'?

Fry is named after the great Phil Hartman.  If you read the other names he's been credited as, you'll know Nasty is wrong, and I am right, when I say it's Philip, with ONE L.

Yeah, it's Philip with one L.

"The Luck of the Fryrish" confuses the issue, because Yancy Sr. names him after the Phillip's head screwdriver, which has two Ls.  No one ever said that Yancy Sr. could spell, though.
